Throughout our 20 year plus history, Celtic Woman has cherished the opportunity to bring our own unique sound to some of the world’s most memorable songs. As we look to our next chapter, we are especially excited to explore the music of some of the world’s most iconic female artists, reimagining songs that have inspired us for years.
Dolly Parton has long been an artist whom we greatly admired, and earlier this year we performed one of her songs, ‘Jolene’ on our US Spring Tour. The response from audiences was incredible.
It is a privilege for us to add our own voice to one of Dolly’s most loved songs. We hope we’ve brought something uniquely Celtic Woman to Jolene, while honouring everything that makes this song so special. Most of all, we hope this version does her proud.
