It was a triumphant return to Japan for Celtic Woman, A New Journey. Having finished the US leg of the tour, the girls took a few days off in Ireland and then packed their cases afresh to embark on their whirlwind Japanese tour.

The first show was held in Tokyo's Orchard Hall, in the metropolitan area of Shibuya. Celtic Woman performed three consecutive shows here to a 2000 strong audience. The Japanese audience were extremely welcoming to this show, despite the obvious language barrier.

For the Japanese tour, a local Production Company traveled with the Celtic Woman crew and cast as well as two translators, to ease the transition between the US leg and the Japanese leg of the tour.

Following Tokyo, there was a show in Osaka, Japan's second largest city. From here, the company traveled to Nagoya for the final 'A New Journey' show in Japan, and it was another fantastic crowd.

The next day, all 5 girls traveled to Kyoto to tape a Christmas Special for NTV. The show, titled Happy XMAS Show will air on December 23rd, and is one of the biggest Christmas shows in Japan. The show was taped at the Tofukuji Temple, a great honour, and the Temple was lit up against the night sky. The girls wore Black with white coats to keep out the winter air and sang 'You Raise me Up' and Lisa performed 'The Christmas Song'. It was another wonderful experience for Celtic Woman.

The following day, the girls traveled home to spend the festive season with their loved ones and will tour again in the Spring of 2008.
