Q: Who is the Red Head on the cover of the Album?
A: The lady on the cover of all the Celtic Woman CD's and DVD's was chosen as a physical representation of a Celtic Woman. She is beautiful yet mysterious, and her physical characteristics, Red Curly hair and blue/green eyes, are synonymous with our image of what a Celtic Woman should be. She is not, and never has been a performer with the show.
Q: Who designed the Costumes worn by the Girls?
A: The costumes worn by the soloist's were designed by Irish Designer Synan O'Mahoney. Well known for his lavish gowns, Synan was the first choice for Celtic Woman costumes.
Q: How do I get Tickets for Meet and Greets?
A: The best way to get a ticket for this is to contact your local PBS Station. Sometimes your local station will advertise Meet and Greet tickets when tickets for Celtic Woman go on sale. The Meet and Greet's are organized by local PBS Stations for their patrons, but demand is usually high, so requesting a ticket early is best.
Q: How many Albums have been released by Celtic Woman?
A: Celtic Woman has to date released three Albums. 'Celtic Woman', 'Celtic Woman; A New Journey' and'Celtic Woman; A Christmas Celebration'. There are corresponding DVD's for each.
Q: How do I purchase Celtic Woman Albums/ Merchandise?
A: If you visit our website, there is a link that will lead you to our online store where you can purchase items from our Merchandise collection. This is a Separate store from Celtic Woman, but they can facilitate your request. On tour, we have a merchandise stand where it is possible to purchase albums, souvenir programmes and other items. Most good record shops should stock Celtic Woman albums or can order it for you. Please continue to check our website for release dates for new releases.
Q: When is Celtic Woman coming to my Town?
A: As you know, Celtic Woman is currently on tour with their show �'A New Journey'. Everyone involved is extremely dedicated and would like to travel to every venue. We hope to get to all corners of the World and share our music with you. However, as you can imagine this takes time and planning, and a lot of air miles.
If you check our website, we have a list of all the dates we have booked and all the venues we will be playing in the coming months, so please check this for the most up to date information about our tour dates.
Q: Where can I get Sheet Music/ Lyrics?
A: We are releasing a Music Book featuring the arrangements and lyrics as featured in 'Celtic Woman' and ' Celtic Woman; A New Journey'. Published by Faber Music. This will be available in October 2007, and can be purchased in stores, online through our website and Amazon and also from our Merchandise stand on tour.
Q: What was Celtic Woman's first show?
A: The first official Celtic Woman show was at The Helix in Dublin, and the results of this were filmed and released as a PBS Special and corresponding DVD. The show was a success, and the rest, as they say, is history.
